ClickBank Bonus Domination - Simply Revolutionary

In staying with my pledge to promote, review, and recommend the ’boutique’ marketers (see my comment on this post to understand what I mean by boutique) who have great products, I want to introduce you to a new product that I think has been needed for some time now, and quite frankly, I’m really surprised that ClickBank didn’t implement a resource like this long ago. And that product is called ClickBank Bonus Domination by Jeff Czyzewski.
ClickBank is a hub for affiliates to find good products to promote. I promote several products that are sold through ClickBank, many of Jimmy D. Brown’s products are sold through ClickBank and I recommend his products heavily. But there is an inherent problem with promoting ClickBank products and that’s the fact that you don’t have access to the purchaser, heck, you don’t even get an email telling you when you’ve made a sale. If you offer bonuses for purchasing through your link, it’s a nightmare. The customer has to email his receipt to you and you have to email the bonus itself or at least a link to where they can download it. Cumbersome is the best description I can give the process.
Well, that all changes with ClickBank Bonus Domination. This product hasn’t launched yet so I haven’t looked at the software myself, but in viewing the videos, this thing is a dream for anyone who sells products through ClickBank, ESPECIALLY, if you give bonuses for purchasing through your link.
First thing it does is it sends you an email when a sale is made. Yahoo!
Next, there is an auto delivery of your bonuses. The system automatically sends an emails to the customer that includes the customer’s receipt number and a link to a page where you can capture his email address and then deliver the bonus.
On your download page you’re free to do upselling right after the customer has purchased and is in the buying mood. My goodness, this product is amazing. It gives you control of every part of the process and helps you increase your sales and profits exponentially.
Lastly, Jeff is including what he calls the Bonus Domination Blueprint. This is a framework to help you create relevant bonuses for the products you promote. The blueprint covers important concepts of making a good bonus offer and demonstrates how to create killer bonus content that works for any product. I know many of us don’t have or know where to get good content to offer for a bonus, Jeff’s blueprint will help you in that area.
The ClickBank Bonus Domination package won’t exactly be cheap at $197, but if you promote a lot of ClickBank products, the ability to offer a bonus will increase you sales to cover that pretty quickly. And then think about the upsell opportunity along with the backend offers you can make because the customer has opted into your mailing list. Yes, this product should pay for itself very quickly.
I’ve got to give Jeff a hand in figuring out a way to solve all the problems that marketers have with ClickBank. Congrats Jeff!
ClickBank Bonus Domination launches at 12:00 p.m. on January 14th. I’ll post again to remind you. Right now, click through on the following link and view Jeff’s video to learn more about how the product works. You’re going to LOVE it, I do.
OH ~ and I almost forgot, Jeff is only going to sell 2500 memberships to the software (I don’t know why he’s limiting it like that, he can sell way more), so don’t wait around. Affiliate marketers will be scooping this up quickly.
Cheers!

Kenneth Yu: Twitter Salvation System
December 1, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Blog, Hot Topics, Kenneth Yu, Social Network Marketing
A couple of weeks ago in my Cross Blog Conversation with Kelly McCausey, I mentioned that I was getting sick of how the “big guru marketers” treat the people who join their lists. I was ranting about getting 30 emails in a 10 day span with 10 emails coming in one day from the same person. Yeah, my fuse was getting short, but I think putting that down in a post allowed me to have a revelation.
Yeah, it made me realize that I don’t want to promote products by “those” people, you know, the “emailing guru shark squad”. I want my site to be one that reviews and promotes “boutique” products. And what do I mean by “boutique” products? Well, basically, I’m talking about products from new, lesser known, or specialized authors. Authors who supply REALLY GOOD stuff but don’t have the backing of the “big gurus” and thus won’t bombard you with 100 “launch” emails the big guys send week after week. These are authors who fly under the radar but supply information that can really help you grow your business.
You know all the abundance stuff that you read about? The Law of Attraction, The Secret, that kind of stuff? Well, I do believe it works. Not in a magical way, but I do believe that opportunities present themselves to a mind that is filled with thoughts of what it wants. My mind has been filled with making my site a haven for boutique marketers and offering great information from authors that are not as well known.
And in comes Kenneth Yu.
I was on Twitter the other day and I don’t know how we got together but before I knew it he offered to let me review the first module of his new product “The Twitter Salvation System.” I stayed up last night going through the first four videos of the system.
Now, I have to preface this with a little introduction of Kenneth. He’s not what you’d call a traditional marketer. He’s interesting. He’s different. He’s SMART. And his system can help you learn how to use Twitter to sell whatever it is that you sell. You’ll see what I mean about Kenneth when you click over to watch a video he calls “How To Kill Dragons Using A Fly Swatter“.
Actually, his “Fly Swatter” movie is very revealing about what you’ll see in his The Twitter Salvation System. He gives you a broad view of what you need to know to be successful on Twitter.
As for the actual product? Well, he let me see Module 1 only and the full system will have four Modules, so I’ll only be able to comment on 25% of the entire package. It covers the psychology of marketing to people and why Twitter is such a great place to form relationships for your business. In video three, Kenneth gives you very specific information about how to formulate your marketing message and then in video four he gives you nitty gritty details you can use immediately:
- Why the USP (Unique Selling Proposition) Doesn’t Work
- The 7 Deadly Sins of Twitter
- Pimping Your Profile
- How to Write Tweets - The Tweet Checklist
- Your Twitter Bank Account
- Secret Linking Methods
- And More
Kenneth reveals marketing information that I’ve never read in any marketing book before and I’ve spent my entire adult life reading business and marketing books (I don’t read fiction but I read at least one, if not two books a month). His information about why the USP no longer works and what to use instead is brilliant. The specific info he gave in only the first module was unbelievable.
I do have a few critiques however, the presentation isn’t perfect. I don’t know if Kenneth will make changes before he launches, but right now, the video controls (you know, the slider that shows you where you are in the movie) isn’t a good one. It won’t let you push it back a little to repeat something, nor will it let you skip ahead. I accidentally stopped the video and I had to start over. It was pretty irritating. Also it doesn’t tell you how long the video is nor does it show your progress. I like to know what I’m getting into, is it 10 minutes or an hour? I might not have an hour and if that’s the case, I’ll watch later, but I might have 10 minutes and want to watch it now. Without the timing info, you can’t make that kind of decision.
Also, Kenneth is a bit monotone and I would suggest you not watch the videos late at night if you’re the least bit sleepy. It’s hard to “get” everything (not having the ability to repeat makes it twice as hard). Watch at a time of day when you’re fresh and ready to learn, because learn is what you’ll do. I loved the info so much I actually took notes (the pause button works) and I even want to go back and watch a second and maybe a third time. Yeah, it’s a lot of information.
Kenneth’s going to launch his new system at 9:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, December 11th. The Twitter Salvation System will sell for $97. It will include four power-packed modules of four videos each for a total of 16 videos. It will include some bonuses but I’m not sure what they will be yet.
All in all, a fantastic product for anyone who loves Twitter and wants to learn how to use it to promote yourself or your brand, generate leads, find JV opportunities and more…for free using Twitter. I’m proud to recommend Kenneth Yu and his Twitter Salvation System as one of my first “boutique” products.
Here’s the link to his “Fly Swatter” video. Be sure to sign up for the updates for the Twitter Salvation System.

Easy to Start A Podcast: Text To Speech Blog Posts With Odiogo

Lynn Terry sent out an email this afternoon alerting her readers to a new utility that can make your blog posts more accessible to more people. In her post “New: The ClickNews Podcast“, she shared a new free service that changes your blog post text to speech.
If you look at the top of this post, you will see a little button that says, Listen Now. The service called Odiogo and it uses text to speech technology to make a blog post into a podcast. Once installed the post is changed to audio and a feed that can be followed through ITunes is made available by clicking on the Odiogo logo in the right hand column of my site. If you wish to subscribe, just click and you’ll be taken to a page where you can subscribe. The podcast can be downloaded to an MP3 player, IPod or IPhone.
The voice sounds very robotic but the owners of the site are working to make it sound more natural.
The main reason I decided to add the service was to allow those who print disabilities, e.g. poor vision, to have better access to the information I provide. As baby boomers we all know we’re starting to age and our eyesight is starting to change. I for one have noticed that my eyes aren’t what they used to be. Making my site more accessible to my readers is an important part of my marketing plan.
The other reason I added the Listen Now button is that now my blog is a podcast on ITunes and it didn’t cost me a thing, only about five minutes to set it up. Set-up is as easy as installing a plug-in to your blog.
If you’re interested in adding Odiogo to your blog, this article at Mashable will help you get set-up.

Blog For Profit - A Really Great Site
October 24, 2008 by Reba

With so many blogs and websites to choose from you’re bound to come across some bad ones and some goods ones, and then there are a few that are extraordinary. Well…I found one of the extraordinary ones. Blog For Profit at www.blogforprofit.com/blog is exceptionally well written and continuously relevant to topic. It’s informational and insightful. Well worth your time.
The owner of this premium work is Grant Griffiths and it was by accident that I even stumbled upon his site. A couple of weeks ago I posted information about how to use Google Reader. After I made the post I went to Twitter and gave a tweet about the post. Grant must have been following me, which I didn’t even realize, and saw my tweet. He liked the post and had trouble making a comment here on my site. We corresponded on Twitter and subsequently I followed him on Twitter.
I always look at the profile pages of the people I follow and since he was nice to me I decided to look at his website. It looked good so I added it to my feed reader and promptly forgot about it.
Yesterday I decided to get caught up on my blog reading and quickly saw just how good this site really is. Grant must be a writer at heart as he’s making 3-4 posts per day, all with really good information. His post about the 3 Major Components of Building A Successful Blog is just one article that is a must read, and that’s just Part 1, there will be more.
I wish I could do that.
Anyway, I make a lot of recommendations on this site but most are for products, this one’s a little different. But speaking from my experience, if you have a blog and want to learn more about the nuances of marketing that blog and having it help your business make money, add Grant’s site to your feed reader. And while you’re at it, sign-up to the Blog For Profit Newsletter, you’re sure to learn something.
And you know what? There are no affiliate links in this post, it’s that good.

A Song About Twitter?
October 10, 2008 by Reba

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but people on the internet are lovin’ Twitter. Everywhere, including here, you have people talking about it and posting what they call a Twitter Badge in the sidebar of their blogs. Check out our sidebar, mine and Brent’s Twitter Badge is there showing you our last post on Twitter. I’m much more active than Brent, but I’m much more active on the internet than Brent as evidenced here on this blog. But even people who aren’t very internet savvy are getting on board at Twitter.
Why do you think that is? Well I suppose many feel it’s a way to socialize with like-minded people (Tweeple or Tweeps in Twitterville). It reminds me of a big party where you can hear other people’s conversations all going on at the same time. But you can’t always here both sides. So you pick up on information here and there, and then you wander around to learn more. You may even say hi to someone because they were having a conversation that interested you. There are people talking with each other, some talking to themselves, and others talking to everyone in the room.
The question that leads every 140 character post is “What are you doing?”. Heck, that phase is almost as iconic now as AOL’s “You’ve got mail” or Verizon’s “Can you hear me now?”. In fact Twitter has been discussed on offline news shows the likes of CNN, ABC and USA Today.
Yesterday I was on Twitter and someone I follow (I don’t remember who) posted a link to a song about Twitter. Yes, can you believe it, someone wrote a song about Twitter. If you know and love Twitter like I do, and have been on the internet and in social networking for any length of time, you’ll understand and agree and have a good laugh about what the guy talks about in the song. I just think it’s hilarious, so much so, I posted here. Just click where it says PLAY in orange.
Very soon I’m going to change the report I give away when you sign up for my newsletter. And…you…guessed it! It’s going to be a report about Twitter. Everything you need to know to navigate Twitter and use it not only for fun and staying connected, but to market your products as well. I may get that done this weekend, so stay tuned!
Leave a comment ~ wadda you think?

Twitter How-To Tip #80 - The Twitter Tease Strategy
September 22, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Blog, Hot Topics, Social Network Marketing
A couple of weeks ago I saw a tweet on Twitter from Dan Hollings that caught my eye. On his website, Twittin’ Secrets - 100 of the World’s Greatest Twitter Tips & Twitter Secrets - The Ultimate “Twitter How To” Guide, he was in the process of posting 100 Twitter tips all over the internet and wasn’t quite finished. He was up to Twitter Tip # 70 or so and was running a contest for Underdog Blog Writers to win a tip to post on their blog.
Well, being the underdog blog writer I am, I entered the contest. Low and behold, I WON!! The contest said my blog needed to be less than 140 days old, have less than 140 posts, and less than 140 subscribers ~ yep, that’s me!
So, before I post the tip, I bet you’re wondering why this is a beneficial thing for me to post this tip. And you’re probably also wondering why Dan would do this. Both very good questions.
First, Dan is doing this so he can build back links to his website. Being my site is new, I haven’t written anything about Search Engine Optimization or SEO as it’s called in the internet marketing world. But back links are very important to getting a high ranking on Google for a specific keyword. It’s Google’s job to list the very best websites when an internet searcher types a keyword in for a search. Google has determined that the more links a website has pointing to it, the more “authority” it has for that keyword. So, Dan will receive 100 back links to his site by doing this and all will have the the keyword “Twitter How-To Tip” as the anchor text. When someone goes to Google and types in “Twitter How-To Tip” or “Twitter How-To” or even “Twitter Tip”, there’s a high possibility that Dan’s website will rank high on the page because he has so many back links with that anchor text.
Now, why is it beneficial for me? Well, any back link is going to help my site at this point. Being a brand new site, I need to do whatever I can to build back links and traffic so I’ll take what I can get. Dan will be putting a link on his site to Tip # 80 - The Twitter Tease Strategy that takes his visitors to my site. If he gets a high ranking on Google, just maybe some of that traffic will follow his link to my site to read about Tip # 80. And then, maybe some of that traffic will like my site and subscribe. Additionally, since Google has determined that Dan’s site is an “authority” site, his link to me will hold a lot of credence and give me a little authority for the keyword phrase “Twitter How-To Tips”. It’s a win-win.
So here’s Twitter How-To Tip #80 - The Twitter Tease Strategy
NOTE: This Twitter How-to Tip is an authorized part of the “Twittin’ Secrets” Series: 100 World’s Greatest Twitter Tips and Twitter Secrets by Internet and Twitter Strategist, Dan Hollings.
TWITTER HOW-TO TIP #80
The Twitter Tease Strategy. That’s right, tease. If you are about to release something (a product, service, discount, event, eBook, tip sheet, whatever) - don’t just Tweet it with a link and think folks are reading. Twitter is like trying to have a conversation with someone who is in their car, sorta tired, listening to the radio, and ordering onion rings at a drive thru restaurant, ALL at the same time. Oh, and let’s not forget the guy with the jackhammer repairing the curb six feet away. One tweet might not grab their attention.
However, duplicate tweets are not recommended either. It’s rude and spam-like. This is where the Twitter Tease comes in. You can use Twitter to drip out to your followers. Bit-by-bit in a plot-like fashion. Updates on how your release is coming along (snags, news, changes, feedback, whatever) can add to the whole tease effect. The Twitter Tease can be like a text version of a movie trailer where you merely build excitement or it can be a social engagement strategy.
I’ve seen authors engage followers, chapter-by-chapter as they write books; I’ve seen event planners pick venue locations, set pricing, pick speakers and offer discounts; I’ve seen tools designed with follower input, features added, and beta testing done… all via Twitter. The Twitter Tease at its finest, is socially engaging others in your process whereby the end result is seen as a team effort.

Quick Tip - How To Get A Ton Of Links To Your Article
August 27, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Article Marketing, Blog, Hot Topics
I love internet marketing as I believe I learn something new each and every day. Learning is a very important part of my life as I want to still be learning when I’m well over 100. My grandpa, who just died this year at 91 always told me he was going to live to be 100 (and almost made it) and I think much of the reason for his longevity was because he continued learning. He was taking classes to learn how to use a computer in his eighties!
Anyway, the reason for my post. I learned this fantastic tip from Michael Ullman’s blog at ImproveYourInternetMarketing.com. I met Michael in the Traffic Secrets 2.0 member forum and he’s been a great help to me. His tip explains how to get 100s of links pointing to one of the articles you’ve submitted to EzineArticles.com.
Now why would you want links to your article? The reason you’d want to do this is that if you can get a bunch of links to the article, it will have a better chance of getting ranked high. If it’s ranked high, a greater chance of people reading it and then clicking over to your site. Plus if the article is ranked high and links to your site, it helps your site to rank higher.
Here’s how it works and I’m assuming you’ve already submitted an article to EzineArticles.com. If not, I’m going to write a post about article marketing soon and you will then need to get busy submitting articles.
- Go to EzineArticles.com and search for the name you used to publish your article (EzineArticles.com allows you to use pen names). Choose the page that has your author name-expert author. The link will look something like this: http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Author_Name
- Right next to the header mentioning your name and your author status, you will find an “RSS icon”. Here’s what an RSS Icon looks like:

- Now copy the url the icon points to and paste it into a text document. To do this, right click and choose “Copy Shortcut” (Internet Explorer) or “Copy Link Location” (Firefox). Then paste into a document started in Notepad, Wordpad, Word or a similar program. Save the document so you don’t lose the the url.
- Now, submit the url to the large number of free RSS directories available on the web and you’ll have tons of links pointing to your articles within a few days.
Compliments of Michael Ullman, here’s a link to a list of RSS directories you can start with:
55 Active RSS Directories to Help Promote Your Feeds!
Stay patient, if you don’t follow what I’m talking about or you don’t know anything about article marketing, I will be writing about it soon. I work a full-time day job and only get to work on this site in my spare time, so even though it may seem slow at first, before you know it, this website will be a wealth of information.

Wordpress ~ Simply A Necessity
August 25, 2008 by Reba

What more can I say? Wordpress is simply the only way to run a website. Even if you don’t want a blog, you still need Wordpress for content management. I’ve been using Wordpress for years and believe me, it’s changed a lot over those years…for THE BETTER! When it comes to a content management system (affectionately referred to as CMS) you won’t find a more simple or cheaper alternative (it’s free!).
I’ll definitely be writing more about Wordpress as I think I’m going to have to do some tutorials or something but for right now I just wanted to get a post in the “Build Your Website” section of the the site to let you know where I stand and what I’ll be teaching on this site.
Also, to add to the “use Wordpress” mantra, only use Wordpress in your own hosting account, that way you own and have control of the content. There is an option to use Wordpress on a hosted site where the content is hosted by wordpress.com, don’t do it. It’s just like using a Blogger account, don’t do it. You’re at the mercy of someone else, don’t do it.
Here’s the link where you can download the most current version of Wordpress ~ and IT’S FREE!!!
Notice the .ORG ~ NOT .COM.
In another post I’ll give you links to two Wordpress plug-ins that are must haves.

How to Cloak Affilate Links
August 24, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Affiliate Marketing, Blog, Website Appearance
Selling affiliate products is a great way to make money online and I’m sure that’s exactly what many of you do, plan to do or will figure out that’s what you need to do. I’ll cover what affiliate marketing is in another post but for now I want to make a simple post to explain what I do to hide my affiliate links.
Whenever you become an affiliate for a product or company, you will receive a specially coded link that when used by a website visitor, it will set a cookie on that visitor’s computer to tell the product owner or company that your website or you referred the visitor to them. If that visitor buys something, you will earn a commission. The link is an integral part of the process as that’s how the company paying the commissions knows to pay YOU.
For the most part, the links that are assigned are long and ugly. To top that off, some people will not use the link, they remove the code that identifies you as the affiliate. In order to “fix” that, the best way I know is to “cloak” the link. Here’s how:
- Create a directory on your site called “info” (or whatever you want to call it). In the “info” directory, create a directory for each of your affiliate links. For example, create a directory called “info” at yoursite.com/info and a directory in the “info” directory called “revolution-theme”.
- In the “revolution-theme” directory, put a file called .htaccess — create this file using a plain text editor like Notepad.
- This file will only have one line in it and it should look like this:
Redirect /info/revolution-theme https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?ii=67579&c=ib&aff=33340&ev=4cdd29eca7 - Note that there are three parts to the line and it should all be on one line (it may wrap in the browser here on the blog): the Redirect command, the location of the directory you want redirected relative to the root of your site (/info/revolution-theme) and the full URL of the location you want that request sent to (the affiliate link). Each of the 3 is separated by a single space and all on one line.
- Upload the .htaccess file to the directory you made for that affiliate. In the example here, you would put the .htaccess file in the revolution-theme directory.
So, if I were to give out the URL http://www.yoursite.com/info/revolution-theme the link would send visitors to revolutiontheme.com using your affiliate code.
There are a few things I want to mention regarding this process that may cause some mix-up. First, when you make the file in Notepad and save it, the file may save as .htaccess.txt. You will need to change the name of the file to exclude the .txt if you want it to work. Also, be sure it has a dot (.) in front of it.
Second, when you upload it to your server, it is considered a hidden file. You may need to change the settings on your FTP program to show hidden files if you want to see it in the directory.
Post any questions in the comment section.
