Become A Blogger – Price Going Up From $27 to $47 Tomorrow

Okay, just one more post about Become A Blogger. It’s a great program put on by two very experienced internet marketing bloggers, what do you have to lose?

Well, if you wait until after 4 pm EST sharp, Thursday, December 11, you’ll lose $120. Yeah, the monthly price is going up $20 a month from $27 to $47 a month. The program lasts six months, so $20 X 6 months = $120!

Yes, the price is going to almost double. So if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time for action. I know you’ve been visiting the site, I can see the number of people who have clicked the link, now click the link and join. If you want to make money blogging, this is the program that will get you started.

And if you’re still skeptical, you really don’t have anything to worry about. The purchase is made through ClickBank and they have a 100% 60-Day money-back guarantee, you don’t even have to notify Yaro and Gideon, just email ClickBank and they’ll make the refund. So, if you join and you aren’t happy any time in the first 60-days, you can get a full refund. I can tell you with confidence that Clickbank will give you your money back no matter what the website owner wants to do. I know because I’ve gotten refunds from Clickbank in the past.

But you won’t want a refund. Yaro says 600 people have already joined. That’s 600 people on the internet that will be ahead of you when you start your blog if you don’t sign-up. So ~ just do it.

Become A Blogger Premium Site

PS: Oh, and I almost forgot ~ the payments stop after 6 months, and then you will gain LIFETIME access to the members area including ALL future updates? Yeah, it’s a good deal and it’s less than $1 a day.

ONE MORE UPDATE: I just clicked over to the sign-up page and Gideon was manning a chat window. I asked him about the level of the course, here’s what he said:

Cheers!

Become A Blogger Premium Site Is Now Open

Gosh, I feel like all I’ve done is promote products this week. I’m sorry for that but in my day job I’m an accountant and the first ten business days we close the books on the last month’s business. I’ve been so busy at work, I haven’t had time to make good posts, but there were some really good offers made available this week and I wanted to post about them.

So…

I got the notice today that Yaro and Gideon’s Become A Blogger Premium Site is now open for business. I hope I’m not too late in posting but I was at work when it opened.

This is a great new coaching program offered by Yaro Starak and Gideon Shalwick. These two are considered two of the best in the blogging field and make tons of money with their blogs.

You can go to this link to check out the offer:

Become A Blogger Premium Site

If you really want to grow your business or make money blogging and are ready to move to the next level, you really should at least read what they have to offer.

Become A Blogger Premium Site

Yaro and Gideon seem to know the skill of how to simplify things that many consider complicated and they have put together an amazing online video course based on their very popular Become A Blogger video series.

Remember the fabulous free blogging tutorials I told you about the other day – (here’s the link)?

Well…they’ve already had close to 70,000 downloads of those videos helping people get started on the internet all over the world.

They tell me that inside their new program, you’ll discover (their words, not mine):

  1. - Clever tricks for getting top search engine results for your blog posts…
  2. - Exactly how to get images onto your blog in the right format, size and shape…
  3. - Easy-to-follow instructions for getting streaming audio onto your blog…
  4. - “Hold-you-by-the-hand” tutorials for producing professional quality videos and getting them onto your blog quick and easy, without any hassle…
  5. - Powerful content creation techniques for attracting hordes of daily new traffic to your blog…
  6. - Simple methods for driving multiple streams of highly qualified traffic to your blog…
  7. - Step-by-step instructions for making a consistent income from your blog using all the latest social media strategies…
  8. - And Much MUCH more…

Yaro and Gideon have been blogging for quite some time now, so they know what they’re talking about (and they make a lot of money doing it). Yes, Yaro, the “strategy brain” behind this new program, currently makes a six figure income just from blogging.

They didn’t offer me an inside preview of their new site but based on what I’ve seen him do over the last few years, I’m sure you can learn a few things from him.

As with most new programs when they are first launched, there is a tiny bit of time pressure…

That’s why I hope I got this out early enough. For only the first 24 hours, Yaro and Gideon are giving away two very POWERFUL bonus products.

One cuts your online video learning time in half, and the other could make you heaps of cash by following some simple advice from a prominent sales conversion expert.

You only have 24 hours to be eligible for these two bonus products – they will be available until December 5th at 4:00 p.m. EST. Once the time runs out, they’ll remove the bonuses and then you won’t be able to get them any longer… unless of course you want to pay for them.

However, if you happen to see this post after the bonuses are gone, that doesn’t mean you can’t get in, just follow the link.

Here’s the link again:

Become A Blogger Premium Site

Ciao!

Reba

PS: Don’t forget that you only have until 4pm, December 5 to grab the fast action bonuses. If you order after this time, I’m afraid you’ll miss out on these two powerful products.

PPS: Oh, and I almost forgot to let you know…

After exactly one week, the price of this new program increases dramatically. So if you’re the least bit interested, I suggest you make the most of this opportunity while you still can…

Become A Blogger – Fantastic Blogging Training Videos

If you’re reading my series on Blogging for Money, then you will probably be interested in the wonderful site I just ran across today for new bloggers. It’s called Become A Blogger and is a MUST SEE for anyone who needs help setting up their WordPress blog.

Yaro Starak, who’s blogging course “Blog Mastermind,” I recommended in a earlier post, and Gideon Shalwick, a world-renowned author of entrepreneurship books, have teamed up to bring you a fabulous series of videos that will teach you everything you need to know to get your blog up and running. And amazingly enough, these videos are FREEEEEEEE!!

When you go over to their site, you’ll find they recommend the same webhosting company I recommend, HostGator.com, however, when you get to the section on installing your WordPress blog, they do it from scratch. I explain in my article “Where Should You Host Your Money Making Blog” that HostGator uses C-Panel and they have Fantastico. Fantastico is a program that installs WordPress for you. Why do it from scratch if Fantastico will do it for you? Well, you might just want to learn how to do it, but once you’ve done that, just use Fantastico.

I put their first video in the right-hand column of the my sight, you can watch it while you’re still reading this article. If you like it just click the following link and go watch all ten videos:

Become A Blogger

Here’s a list of all ten free videos, I also gave a link to similar articles I have on this site:

  1. Why You Should Use WordPress – My Post => WordPress-Simply A Necessity
  2. How To Get Your Own Domain Name – My Post => Where Should You Host Your Money Making Blog?
  3. How To Get A Webhost – My Post => Where Should You Host Your Money Making Blog?
  4. How To Install WordPress
  5. How To Upload Files To Your Webhost Using FTP
  6. Choosing A WordPress Theme For Your New Blog
  7. How To Install And Use WordPress Plugins – My Post => Setting Up Your Blog Properly-Part 1
  8. How To Create Your First Blog Post
  9. What RSS is and Why You Need It – My Post => What Is RSS & How To Use Google Reader
  10. How To Use FeedBurner for Super Charging Your RSS Capabilities

Also, while I have your attention, on December 1st Yaro and Gideon are going to release a free report called “Roadmap To Become A Blogger”. When you visit their site to view the videos, you’ll see a sign-up box in the right-hand column of their site. If you go ahead and sign-up there, you will be on their early notification list for when the release occurs so you won’t forget. If you’re thinking about blogging for a living, I’m sure the report will be one you want to read, so don’t miss out and get yourself signed up.

Cheers!

Setting-Up Your Blog Properly – Part 2

November 21, 2008 by Reba

Comments Off

As stated in Part 1, after installing your WordPress blog on your own domain, there are 3 steps you need to take to get your blog set-up properly so it will not only be indexed by the search engines but also be easy to run and a good place for your visitors to go. I’m going to cover each step in a separate post, this is Part 2.

These steps are specific to a WordPress blog hosted on your own domain. The free or hosted services like Blogger and WordPress.com will not allow you to accomplish what is described in these articles. These are the three steps:

  1. Part 1 – Add the proper plug-ins
  2. Part 2 – Change the permalinks
  3. Part 3 – Find a quality theme and activate the widgets

Changing Permalinks

The default setting in WordPress sets the URL of each blog post as Yourdomain.com/?p=123. If you allow your URLs to look like this, you are missing a chance to add your keywords into the URL. Having your keywords in your URL can help your post get ranked in the search engines much quicker. This can easily be corrected.

After you log-in to your blog, click on Settings – and then Permalinks. You will see the following:

Click Custom Structure and enter /%category%/%postname%

This will make the URLS for your blog posts appear in the following format:

“Yourdomain.com/category(your keyword)/postname

If you’re reading this post from its own page (not the home page or the blog page), you can look at the URL in your browser’s address field and see it’s formatted as described – http://www.internetmarketingboomer.com/hot-topics/setting-up-your-blog-properly–part-2/

This is an important step to take in making sure your blog is set-up to be indexed by the search engines and listed with the proper keywords.

My next post will cover finding a quality theme and activating widgets on your blog.

Cheers!

Setting-Up Your Blog Properly – Part 1

After installing your WordPress blog on your own domain, there are three steps you need to take to get your blog set-up properly so it will not only be indexed by the search engines but also be easy to run and a good place for your visitors to go. I’m going to cover each step in a separate post, this is Part 1.

Adding the proper plug-ins

The first thing in setting up your blog is to add the proper plug-ins. Plug-ins add to the operation of your blog and some adjust how your blog operates. The proper plug-ins can make a huge difference in how the search engines treat your blog. Other plug-ins make a big difference in how your posts are presented to your visitors.

There are literally thousands of plug-ins with more being added to the selection on a daily basis. You can find a directory of available plug-ins at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ and this link can also be found on the dashboard of your WordPress blog (the first page when you log-in to your blog).  The list below is what I am using at this time.

  • Akismet – Is automatically installed with WordPress; helps prevent comment spam.
  • All-In-One SEO Pack – adjusts your blog so it is search engine friendly.
  • Google XML Sitemaps – Creates a sitemap for your blog that is compliant with Google and others. Once your sitemap is created, you should submit it to Google Webmaster Tools.
  • CommentLuv – Shows a link to the last post from the commenter’s blog in their comment. Helps promote comments.
  • Sociable – Automatically add links on your posts, pages and RSS feed to your favorite social bookmarking sites.
  • Subscribe To Comments – Allows readers to receive notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry.
  • WP tags to Technorati – Automatically creates tags to link to Technorati for you
  • Ultimate Google Analytics – Enables Google Analytics on your blog. Has an option to also track external links, mailto links and links to downloads on your own site.
  • WordPress Duplicate Content Cure – A simple, yet effective SEO plug-in that prevents search engines from indexing WordPress pages that contain duplicate content, like archives and category pages.

Now there are plenty of others but those are the minimum I would recommend to make your blog work better and be more search engine friendly.

To install the plug-ins you will need to FTP them into the wp-content folder within your blog. Once uploaded, log-in to your blog, go to the Plug-In link in the upper right corner, then find the plug-in listed and click on the “Activate” link.

Tomorrow we’ll change the PermaLinks so they are search engine friendly.

Ciao!

Where Should You Host Your Money Making Blog?

November 16, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Blog, Blogging For Money, Hot Topics

If you read my last post, A Guide to Choosing a Site for Your Money Making Blog, you know I highly recommend using Wordpress on your own domain name and hosting account. But you’re probably wondering where to go to get a domain name and hosting account. This post will give you some suggestions for where to register a domain name and sign-up for a hosting account.

Domain Name – Domain names are fairly inexpensive no matter where you go. I buy all my domain names from the same place so they are easy to manage. I used to not do that, I had domain name registrations with several companies and I totally lost control. It was very hard to keep track. The company I now use, DomainsPricedRight.com, has a website that is very easy to use and they are timely about reminding you to renew. They are a reseller of GoDaddy.com domain registrations but I’m finding they are less expensive than GoDaddy.com. So my advice would be to check both.

Hosting Account – It’s best to choose a hosting account that not only charges a reasonable rate for their service but also is easy to use. Hosting companies that offer C-Panel for their control panel will make using your account simple. Also be sure they have 24/7 telephone customer service. And lastly, check to be sure they have Fantastico. Fantastico is a software program that installs other software for you. It makes installing WordPress as easy as clicking a link.

My favorite web hosting company is HostGator.com. They offer everything I recommend and are reasonably priced. Recently I noticed they have changed their hosting packages to include unlimited disk space and bandwidth, which is fabulous if you want to host any video or if your site becomes wildly popular.

I’ll be honest here, I have a HostGator account but I’m currently not using it. I started on the internet ten years ago and at that time I chose WestHost. WestHost has been fantastic for me with regard to reliability and customer service, so I’ve stayed with them. I host a lot of websites, and because I understand their control panel and it would be a great hassle to move all my sites, I’m staying with them. The only reason I don’t recommend them, especially for beginners, is they don’t use C-Panel. Sorry WestHost. However, if you’re a seasoned website builder and you’re looking for a reliable hosting company, WestHost is just that.

One other thing I want to discuss is whether to choose Linux or Windows hosting. When you go to open your hosting account you will be presented with a choice at many of the hosting companies I’m going to recommend and I want you to have some knowledge.

Linux is the operating system I use and recommend you choose. There seems to be dispute within the IT community as to which is best, but for a new user, Linux will serve you best. And from what I’ve read, it’s the most secure and most stable of the two operating systems. If you want to read a good article that compares the two systems, read Windows vs. Linux . A quote from that page sums it up for me:

While Linux is not yet able to take full advantage of ASP, it is a very popular choice as an operating system for web servers. It is widely acclaimed for its stability and that has to count for something. While Windows’ instability, although it might be somewhat anecdotal, is a subject that is often discussed, Linux’s stability is almost undisputed.

Here’s a list of hosting companies for you to compare:

  • HostGator.com – C-Panel & Fantastico
  • WestHost.com – no C-Panel but they do have an easy install for WordPress
  • BlueHost.com – C-Panel & Fantastico
  • HostICan.com – C-Panel & Fantastico
  • GoDaddy.com – They have easy install WordPress but I couldn’t tell from their website if they use C-Panel & Fantastico or not.

I don’t recommend you use Blogger.com, Wordpress.com or TypePad.com for your  blog, however, if you’re new, you may decide that’s the route you want to go.  Customization options for these services are very limited and you won’t get decent statistics on your blog activities.  You can install secondary stat tools but why go to that extra effort? Be sure to read my last post, A Guide to Choosing a Site for Your Money Making Blog.

Well, that’s enough for now. My next three posts will be a series about how to set-up your money-making blog properly. Be sure to come back!

Cheers!

Can You Really Make Money Blogging?

November 6, 2008 by Reba
Filed under Blog, Blogging For Money, Hot Topics

Blogging has been available on the Internet for quite some time. It first started as a creative outlet for people to make their personal journals public so they could share them with family and friends. It didn’t take long for people to figure out that a blog is a great place to share information and soon they were being used in all kinds of ways to generate income.

Blogs are loved by the search engines because they are updated so frequently, unlike a normal website that has a more static nature. For that reason they tend to get a lot of visitors from the search engines and can be excellent tools to help you earn extra money without having to invest a lot of start-up cash.

People love reading blogs and millions visit blogs every day for both informational and entertainment purposes.  Many blogs have loyal followings where visitors come back day in and day out to check in on the blogger’s latest entries. Bloggers link to each other’s blogs and that helps increase the reader base. As a blog’s traffic grows the chances for earning increase substantially.

One of the most popular ways of monetizing your blog is to place AdSense ads on your pages. By strategically placing the ads on your blog, you can entice visitors to click them. Each time a visitor clicks an ad you share in the earnings of the profits Google makes. A blog with a high flow of traffic and ad clicks can earn substantial revenue.

In order to earn a lot of money with AdSense, you have to have a high traffic flow to your blog. The most important concept to consider when trying to earn money with AdSense is that you have to make the ads visible.  The more clicks you get, the more money you’ll make.

Another very popular way to make money with your blog is to offer advertising space to other businesses. Advertisers will pay handsome prices to place their banner on a popular blog. Most are willing to pay you based on the traffic numbers you generate and the position available on your blog with the most visible and highest trafficked pages receiving the highest advertising rates.

There are many ways to monetize ad space.  You can charge a flat fee, take a commission based on the number of click-throughs, or make a deal where you get a percentage of the sale of a product much like affiliate marketers do. If your blog is extremely popular, then there’s a good chance advertiser’s will compete to have their banners placed on your blog.

If you already have a product or service, either online or offline, a blog can help you add revenue to that business by drawing in more customers as they learn about and start to trust you and your company. If you blog about your products and services and invite readers to subscribe to a mailing list, your blog will consistently add to your bottom line.  It can also be used to build a second stream of income through the promotion of affiliate programs.

Unless you have a very diverse business, it isn’t possible to provide everything your market needs directly.  There are always opportunities to recommend other products and services.  If you can find an appropriate vendor who offers a percentage or flat fee commission for referrals, go for it!  By posting recommendations, when you discover them and also creating a page on your blog where you can update a list of recommendations you can add another stream of income to your business.  Blog experts encourage you be transparent about your affiliate links and let your readers know that you will earn a commission if they act on your recommendation.  Be sure to keep your ‘second stream’ posts are in an appropriate ratio with your other posts or your readers will grow weary of them.

Now I have a recommendation to make and yes, it’s an affiliate link. In this article I’ve only discussed a couple of ways to monetize your blog but there are many other ways as well. Yaro Starak is the owner of a membership website called Blog Mastermind that teaches how to blog for money. Yaro is a professional blogger who makes over $5000 per month from his blog and his mentoring program is designed especially for people who want to earn a full time income from blogging part time.

You can download Yaro’s “Blog Profits Blueprint” ebook for free by going to his site and giving him your name and email address.  This free book shows you everything he did to build his blog up to the point where it makes over $5000 a month. It’s definitely worth reading if you’re thinking about blogging for money.

Blogs are a good way for baby boomers to earn extra money while still working full-time. By sharing your thoughts, feelings, knowledge, wisdom, or even just your daily tasks you can build a nice on-going income over time. And by choosing a topic that has a high number of searches and properly setting-up your blog, you can implement a money-making strategy by just posting on a regular basis about a topic you enjoy. Now that’s an idea that could really help with retirement.

My next post will be about finding a good niche.

Cheers!

Reba
