This is Day 8 of 10 of my tips to help you increase your online business profits in 2009.

By making just a few changes in the ways you handle a few little things each day, you can grow your business and increase your profits substantially.

Stay tuned over the next ten days and I will share ten important ideas that can help you increase your business and grow your profits in 2009.

Day 8 -

‘DOUBLING UP’ TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS

This is technique I like to call ‘Doubling Up’ and it’s a strategy you can  use to grow your business and increase profits every couple years.

‘Doubling Up’ can be applied to many different areas of your business. For instance, if you write articles to promote your website and it’s working well for you, what could you do to double that success? Simple. Outsource the exact number of articles you write, so if you write five articles, outsource five articles and then you’ll have ten articles. This means your efforts, as well as your traffic, as well as your PROFITS, have the potential to double.

Even if you can’t double your output, what if you increased by 50%? That would still increase your profits. If you can’t afford to outsource just yet, you can still apply the technique and write all ten articles yourself. You can even have a friend, family member or significant other help write for you as well, provided you give them a little bit of training.

What else could you do in your online business that could DOUBLE your profits?

  • Create two videos instead of just one.
  • Market to two niches instead of one.
  • Charge double for one of your products or service (do split testing to prove which price sells better).
  • Do two launches instead of one this year (with the help of outsourcing or JV partnering).
  • Put up a website AND a blog instead of just one or the other.
  • Double your PPC advertising budget or raise it by a percentage.

Any of the above tactics will increase your profits significantly, so there is no reason to ignore the magical potential of ‘Doubling Up.’

This isn’t rocket science but it works and it’s a tactic that’s easy to try.

What if you took it even further and did ‘TRIPLING UP’? Of course, that would take a bit more outsourcing or tripling the amount of hours you work on that segment of your business, but triple the income doesn’t sound bad at all.

Tomorrow – Day 9

GET WITH THE TIMES

Cheers!

Start Outsourcing To Increase Profits In Your Online Business

This is Day 3 of 10 of my tips to help you increase your online business profits in 2009.

By making just a few changes in the ways you handle a few little things each day, you can grow your business and increase your profits substantially.

Stay tuned over the next ten days and I will share ten important ideas that can help you increase your business and grow your profits in 2009.

Day 3 -

START OUTSOURCING

Every successful person and/or corporation is involved in outsourcing of some sort. Usually, this is the very key that allowed them to achieve their current level of success. If Sam Walton had made all the products in WalMart himself, do you think the company would be where it is today? The fact that the company can outsource the work to enough people who know what they’re doing (employees, vendors, etc.), is what makes them able to reach the level of success they have achieved.

You’ve heard the term, “two heads are better than one.” This rings true in a lot of aspects of life. It’s like that with outsourcing. If you can write five articles a day, that is great. However, if you can write five a day and outsource another five articles per day, then that makes ten articles a day instead of five.

That just DOUBLED your marketing efforts.  If you DOUBLE your output, you will have DOUBLE the results. Imagine if you outsourced even more often or on a broader scale. Also, outsourcing will allow you to use the millionaire mindset of knowing there are people out there who can do a better job than you when it comes to certain tasks or skills. So instead of competing against these people, hire them!

Think about it, if you outsource a sales letter to a TOP sales copywriter, chances are your product offer will convert A LOT more than it would if you wrote your own sales copy or used a writer without experience to get a bargain. WIth excellent copywriting, an offer will tend to convert much better and sell many more copies — which again, enhances your business as well as increases your profits.

Tomorrow – Day 4

START USING VIDEO MARKETING

Cheers!

Learn And Use A New Online Marketing Technique

This is Day 2 of 10 of my tips to help you increase your online business profits in 2009.

By making just a few changes in the ways you handle a few little things each day, you can grow your business and increase your profits substantially.

Stay tuned over the next ten days and I will share ten important ideas that can help you increase your business and grow your profits in 2009.

Day 2 -

LEARN A NEW ONLINE MARKETING TECHNIQUE

This tip is an extremely effective one. Let’s say you have four main marketing methods you use to promote your business. For example, let’s say those four methods are:

1. Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC)
2. Link Building
3. Social Network Marketing
4. Blogging

This is an excellent group of advertising methods to combine and implement. However, what if you were to add another method such as article writing?  That would increase the methods you use to generate business to five and each would constitute 20% of your marketing efforts.

That means you can potentially add as much as 20% more business and increase your profits by a significant amount by just adding one new marketing method to your existing campaign.

You can add more than one method for even better results. There are many marketing techniques you can use and you may be missing income by not using and knowing about as many as possible. Here’s a list:

- Search Enginge Optimiztion (SEO)
- Link Building
- Article Writing (Article Marketing)
- Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC)
- Blogging
- Social Network Marketing
- Classified Ad Marketing
- Offline Marketing (Business Cards, Flyers, Car Magnet, etc.)
- Offline Newspaper Classified Ads
- Answer Board Marketing
- Video Marketing (YouTube Marketing, etc.)
- Building a List
- Landing a JV
- Email Marketing
- Forum Marketing (Other than IM Niche)
- Outsourcing

There are more, but I’m sure there’s at least ONE of the above that you are not doing at all or not doing enough of.

If you add one or more of the above marketing methods to your existing marketing efforts, I guarantee you will increase your profits and enhance your business over this next upcoming year.

Tomorrow – Day 3

START OUTSOURCING

Cheers!

10 Ways To Increase Profits In Your Online Business In 2009

December 7, 2008 by Reba

By just making a few changes in the ways you handle a few things each day, you can enhance your business and increase your profits substantially. Are you doing everything you possibly can to make the most of your business or are you leaving money behind?

Over the next ten days I will discuss ten important (possibly critical) ideas that can help you increase your business as well as your profits.

Day 1 -

PRIORITIZE

The first thing you must consider when trying to grow your business and/or increase your profits in 2009 or anytime, is that you must learn to  ‘prioritize’ while working and trying to complete projects.

For example, when planning your day (hopefully you do this task the night before), consider what’s more important, hanging out on Twitter or your favorite messageboard, or writing an article (or two or three) to promote your website? It’s obvious the latter should be a higher priority, even though Twitter and messageboards can be valuable in your marketing plan. However, which one do you often choose? I often find myself spending much more time on Twitter than I should (hours <<grin>>) when I could be doing much more for my business.

It takes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to write an article. Couldn’t Twitter, your favorite messageboard, and maybe even your email, wait until you finish the article?

I have found that I have to make myself focus and prioritize the things I know I need to do or the day will be gone. Once my tasks are prioritized, I will work through the list and then reward myself with time on Twitter and reading blogs and posts on forums. Not to say that time on the social networking websites isn’t important, but those activities are fun and you may not realize how much time has past.

Staying away from social networks until higher priority work is done is just one example of what you can do to better prioritize your time. One problem faced by many business owners who operate online is checking their stats or email more often than needed (yes, that’s me).  This habit will take you away from important tasks that should be getting done.

Learn to strategically prioritize everything you need to get done in a day. Prioritize which projects or tasks you will work on first and in order of importance. One time management book I read recommends listing only the five most important things you need to do each day on your To Do list. List everything else on a second page. Only add to the top page when those five items are done and NEVER list more than five items. This helps you focus on what’s most important.

Tomorrow – Day 2

ADD A NEW MARKETING TECHNIQUE TO YOUR ROUTINE

Cheers!
