The Roadmap To Become A Blogger Report Is Live

As promised I said I’d post the link to Yaro Starak and Gideon Shalwick’s new FREE report called “The Roadmap To Become A Blogger“. Just click on the link on the name of the report.
My review of the report can be found at my post: Roadmap To Become A Blogger Review
Today I got the email telling me the link was live and Gideon also gave me a ton of information I didn’t know when I wrote the review. That’s probably because, as I said in my review post, I scanned the report. I’m sure I missed a bunch of great information. So, I think it’s appropriate to mention it here and obvious that I should go back and read the report more thoroughly.
First, the report describes the step-by-step “formula” that Yaro Starak used to create his amazingly successful blog. The report also reveals thirteen strategies that will help you make your blog successful. Sorry, I didn’t count them, but there’s a lot of info in there.
Here’s a list of some of the things you’ll find in this report:
- How to ethically exploit the biggest wave in technology since the invention of the telephone…
- How Yaro and Gideon stumbled upon the “X-Factor” for Blogging Success, and how it turned upside down everything they thought they knew about blogging…
- Why not deploying the “X-Factor” in your blog could cause your blog to crash and burn, never to recover…
- 7.4 million reasons why your blog will fail, unless you know how to take advantage of the intersection of two huge Internet trends…
- How a new way of using video, images and a blog turned a penniless actor into an Internet Superstar!
- 13 secret strategies to attract traffic to your blog like bees to a beehive, turn your competitors green with envy and help you make a huge success of your blogging efforts…
Okay, we all know the list is loaded with “sales-speak”, however, basically it’s right. There’s a bunch of information about how you have to stand out by using video and social media distribution. It’s great information for the blogger who wants to be successful.
I talked in my review about how all that scared me because I don’t want to do video, heck, I absolutely HATE to edit the stuff. But at least I know where I stand and what I have to compete with. Maybe it’ll make me realize that I need to do video, I don’t know. At any rate, the report is fantastic and sees into the future. It’s a must read.

The Roadmap To Become A Blogger Review

UPDATE: Report is now live at The Roadmap To Become A Blogger - GO GET IT NOW!
You can tell Yaro and Gideon of Become A Blogger are not from the United States (they’re from Australia) because I got my pre-release copy of their new free report “The Roadmap To Become A Blogger” at 4:30 on Thanksgiving Day. Of course I was enjoying a day with my family while working on getting a Thanksgiving feast ready for the dinner table and didn’t even know I’d received it until I checked my email the next morning. And then, of course, I had to go shopping with my daughters, so it sat unopened in my email inbox until today.
Quite honestly, I really didn’t have much time to truly read it today either but I did take a quick scan of the 60 some-odd page document. And after spending that time I felt it was necessary to post my review.
NOTE: This report is not yet available – it will be made available on Monday, December 1st. I don’t know what time, but it is free and I will post the link on Monday as soon as I receive it.
I have to say, this report is socked full of information. Actually, it’s information that scares me a bit. Acording to Gideon, who I’m thinking is the person who wrote the report, the days of earning money online by using a traditional blog are gone. Yes, according to him, in order for a person to start a blog today and earn a living with a blog in the traditional manner, with text and words, is past.
In comes the new age of blogging that includes video, audio, images, and social media distribution. He talks about how in order to stand out from the ‘two new blogs that are started every three seconds’, you have to do something different. I have to admit, while reading the report I was starting to feel a little behind the times. However, he makes a great point. If ‘two new blogs are started every three seconds’, how are you supposed to get readers and subsequently buyers for the products you promote?
Well, as scary as the report was for me to read, it not only opened my eyes to the fact that I might need to move further into the future, but it also does a fantastic job of outlining how to get started down the road to making money blogging. The report has five milestones that a new blogger must work through before they are able to make money. Each milestone is explained clearly and realistically. Timeframes for accomplishment are discussed as well as what to do when your plan doesn’t work.
The report, in addition to being insightful, is the one report that comes closest to giving you everything you need to know to get started down the road to making money with blogging. Of course, they don’t tell you everything, it’s still a bit theoritical, the nitty gritty details will be saved for the membership site they’re building up to. For a free report, the amount of great information you receive is fantastic and if you’re a person wanting to make money blogging, taking the time to read this report may save you months of trial and error.
I’ll post the link as soon as it’s available or you can go to Become A Blogger and sign up for the early notification list that will give you access before everyone else.
Cheers!

If you’re reading my series on Blogging for Money, then you will probably be interested in the wonderful site I just ran across today for new bloggers. It’s called Become A Blogger and is a MUST SEE for anyone who needs help setting up their WordPress blog.
Yaro Starak, who’s blogging course “Blog Mastermind,” I recommended in a earlier post, and Gideon Shalwick, a world-renowned author of entrepreneurship books, have teamed up to bring you a fabulous series of videos that will teach you everything you need to know to get your blog up and running. And amazingly enough, these videos are FREEEEEEEE!!
When you go over to their site, you’ll find they recommend the same webhosting company I recommend, HostGator.com, however, when you get to the section on installing your WordPress blog, they do it from scratch. I explain in my article “Where Should You Host Your Money Making Blog” that HostGator uses C-Panel and they have Fantastico. Fantastico is a program that installs WordPress for you. Why do it from scratch if Fantastico will do it for you? Well, you might just want to learn how to do it, but once you’ve done that, just use Fantastico.
I put their first video in the right-hand column of the my sight, you can watch it while you’re still reading this article. If you like it just click the following link and go watch all ten videos:
Here’s a list of all ten free videos, I also gave a link to similar articles I have on this site:
- Why You Should Use WordPress – My Post => WordPress-Simply A Necessity

Also, while I have your attention, on December 1st Yaro and Gideon are going to release a free report called “Roadmap To Become A Blogger”. If you go ahead and sign-up there, you will be on their early notification list for when the release occurs so you won’t forget. Finding A Good Niche For Making Money Blogging
November 11, 2008 by Reba

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression, “do what you love and the money will come.” Well, this may well be one of the keys to running a successful business. If you thoroughly enjoy your job, it will reflect in what you do.
That being said, it’s not necessary to start your business in a niche that you’re passionate about, it just helps you maintain your level of interest if the money is slower to come than you expected. If this is your first venture in making money by blogging, you don’t need to be an expert in the topic but by picking one that resonates with you, you will have a greater desire to learn about it. The main thing here is to do good keyword research and come up with a topic where you have the potential to rank in the search engines for the terms that you are going to target.
For monetizing your blog it’s good to look for the following:
- Minimum of 3 products with the keywords you’ve chosen
- At least 8 Google Adwords advertisers, this will tell you if people buy in this niche
- Keywords with at least 40 searches a day
- Maximum of 50,000 competing sites for the term when searched in Google with quotes, you don’t want too much competition
These are just ball park figures but if you’re specifically looking to make money with your blog, these guidelines will help keep you from spinning your wheels where there is no money or waste time in a niche where it will be impossible for you to generate traffic easily from the search engines.
While doing your research you may find the topic you’ve chosen is too broad but you are able to find a narrower niche by doing a few searches. As an example, say you want to start a knitting business so you go to Google and type in “baby clothes” and it brings up hundreds of thousands of listings for the search term.
Obviously, that’s too many websites to compete with, so next you need to try to narrow it down. Instead of trying to squeeze into an already saturated market, you can narrow down your niche by selling “custom made baby clothes,” or take it even further and sell one specific thing like, “custom knit baby clothes” or “custom knit baby booties.”
The key to finding a profitable niche is to take your main interest and break it down as much as you can. Your goal is get it to the point where you can focus on one very specific thing.
Finding your niche is an important first step. Creating a business comes second to discovering the niche if you want to achieve true success.
Can You Really Make Money Blogging?

Blogging has been available on the Internet for quite some time. It first started as a creative outlet for people to make their personal journals public so they could share them with family and friends. It didn’t take long for people to figure out that a blog is a great place to share information and soon they were being used in all kinds of ways to generate income.
Blogs are loved by the search engines because they are updated so frequently, unlike a normal website that has a more static nature. For that reason they tend to get a lot of visitors from the search engines and can be excellent tools to help you earn extra money without having to invest a lot of start-up cash.
People love reading blogs and millions visit blogs every day for both informational and entertainment purposes. Many blogs have loyal followings where visitors come back day in and day out to check in on the blogger’s latest entries. Bloggers link to each other’s blogs and that helps increase the reader base. As a blog’s traffic grows the chances for earning increase substantially.
One of the most popular ways of monetizing your blog is to place AdSense ads on your pages. By strategically placing the ads on your blog, you can entice visitors to click them. Each time a visitor clicks an ad you share in the earnings of the profits Google makes. A blog with a high flow of traffic and ad clicks can earn substantial revenue.
In order to earn a lot of money with AdSense, you have to have a high traffic flow to your blog. The most important concept to consider when trying to earn money with AdSense is that you have to make the ads visible. The more clicks you get, the more money you’ll make.
Another very popular way to make money with your blog is to offer advertising space to other businesses. Advertisers will pay handsome prices to place their banner on a popular blog. Most are willing to pay you based on the traffic numbers you generate and the position available on your blog with the most visible and highest trafficked pages receiving the highest advertising rates.
There are many ways to monetize ad space. You can charge a flat fee, take a commission based on the number of click-throughs, or make a deal where you get a percentage of the sale of a product much like affiliate marketers do. If your blog is extremely popular, then there’s a good chance advertiser’s will compete to have their banners placed on your blog.
If you already have a product or service, either online or offline, a blog can help you add revenue to that business by drawing in more customers as they learn about and start to trust you and your company. If you blog about your products and services and invite readers to subscribe to a mailing list, your blog will consistently add to your bottom line. It can also be used to build a second stream of income through the promotion of affiliate programs.
Unless you have a very diverse business, it isn’t possible to provide everything your market needs directly. There are always opportunities to recommend other products and services. If you can find an appropriate vendor who offers a percentage or flat fee commission for referrals, go for it! By posting recommendations, when you discover them and also creating a page on your blog where you can update a list of recommendations you can add another stream of income to your business. Blog experts encourage you be transparent about your affiliate links and let your readers know that you will earn a commission if they act on your recommendation. Be sure to keep your ‘second stream’ posts are in an appropriate ratio with your other posts or your readers will grow weary of them.
Now I have a recommendation to make and yes, it’s an affiliate link. In this article I’ve only discussed a couple of ways to monetize your blog but there are many other ways as well. Yaro Starak is the owner of a membership website called Blog Mastermind that teaches how to blog for money. Yaro is a professional blogger who makes over $5000 per month from his blog and his mentoring program is designed especially for people who want to earn a full time income from blogging part time.
You can download Yaro’s “Blog Profits Blueprint” ebook for free by going to his site and giving him your name and email address. This free book shows you everything he did to build his blog up to the point where it makes over $5000 a month. It’s definitely worth reading if you’re thinking about blogging for money.
Blogs are a good way for baby boomers to earn extra money while still working full-time. By sharing your thoughts, feelings, knowledge, wisdom, or even just your daily tasks you can build a nice on-going income over time. And by choosing a topic that has a high number of searches and properly setting-up your blog, you can implement a money-making strategy by just posting on a regular basis about a topic you enjoy. Now that’s an idea that could really help with retirement.
My next post will be about finding a good niche.
Cheers!
